I really enjoy converting models I'll never use (kinda expensive, but hey)
This is a pair of Big Mutants for a Lost and the Damned army. (still WIP, got to get out the greenstuff and paint)
I got the inspiration from Andusciassus' Big Mutant that he posted WIPs of the other week, I just went in a slightly different direction with them.
First up is my version of the Heavy Stubber Mutant. He's had a Stubber grafted onto what remains of his left arm, I've also included an ammo box that will be strapped to his back, and an ammo feed running to the stubber. He's also got a bionic eye replacement, just cause he's tough.

Next up is Fireman Sam, he totes around a Flamer unit, with the barrels strapped to his back (after I get out the greenstuff). I also decided to give him a fireman's hook as a CCW, I know it's big, but it fits the look. He's wearing some fire protection gear, but I might end up scupting some more

bravo....very nice looking mutants. Are you using ogre bulls to do all the big mutants?

Very nice. The base is a mix of Bull and Irongut parts.
Not to be critical, but in a Lost and Damned these guys are going to look more like "evil Ogryns" than Big Mutants. Maybe a tentacle or two somewhere? Please?

You can't call them mutants without tentacles!
Looks good otherwise. I might recommend that when you get some green stuff that you do some mutations on them. I also recommend that you get a bag of large bases so you actually can play with them

yes yes yes, tentacles/tails/extra stuff, I was thinking of greenstuffing some scales anyway, I have some horns and spikes sitting in the bitzbox that'll work. I'll definately add more to them (they're still mostly stuck together with blu-tac)
but don't forget that Ogryn's are technically mutants already
and as for the bases, I don't have any spare monster bases lying around, I'll get some and terrain them up with bodies and stuff.
