Bought my blood knights upon release but I still havn't painted them, its just too daughting especially since I did an amazing new paint job on my varghulf (because of this it takes there place in the army).

Has anyone got any pictures of blood knights painted in a more unconventional way rather than just red? I need some motivation/inspiration.

do you have a custom army theme color(s)?

I just paint everything in that theme (in my case green and yellow)
I'm planning to paint my blood knights in metal, then a dark angels green- wash over it
then paint accents (like pins, joints, ornaments, etc) in yellow.

I painted mine as dead Black Guard of Morr as it goes with my guys fluff. So I always liked the idea of any knight order.
