Well.

Some news for you all.

Starting sometime this weekend, I'm going to be cutting myself off from the internet - not literally, metaphorically.

I'm going through a period in my life right now, kind of like "finding myself"... and the internet is a serious distraction in my life right now.

I won't have AIM/MSN/email/anything else while I'm "gone." Just too many things to get straight in my life, and the internet is not a necessary part of it.

You can all feel free to send me PMs/emails if you want, and eventually (no telling how long) I will see them.

I won't be getting off for another day or two, as I want to see any comments/questions left before I leave.

Thanks to all of you for giving me a great time at LO, and hopefully, when this is all over, I will be back to throw some more posts at you.

Fair enough man.
I know what you mean about finding yourself, and an important thing to remember is that there are a lot of people who care for you, no matter what. Your family and friends will be there for you, so don't forget to talk to them. Just make sure that you are as happy as you can possibly be, for as much of the time as possible, but also know that it is ok to be sad if that's how you feel.

Also, melodrama is a really bad thing, as can be seen here ^

We'll miss you in your absense for sure, and we'll try to keep the revolts and riots that happen while your gone to a minimum.

T.T LO will be missing a great person...

But dude I totally understand where you are coming from, and believe in your choice 100% fully. I would do the same.. that is if I could ever fight on this addiction on getting online... which I have yet to overcome.

Well I hope everything of the best happens to you, and that hopefully you find what you are looking for, whatever that may be.

See ya Nemesis. The great thing about the internet is you can vanish for as long as you want and then when you return no-one will treat you any different! All your mates will probably still be here when you get back...

Good for you!

It is a real strength to be able pull yourself away from something that you may be concerned about. If you can come back later after all is straight, then all the better for you.

I hope you find it is what you are looking for, but don't worry if it doesn't come right away. Life is a wonderfull long journey, and you seem to be the type that can find right roads to take.

I moved late last year, and had the chance to become whoever I wanted to be, but I'm still the same old me, admittedly I have made minor changes, but they are changes to my view of life and the world around me, more than anything else.
Don't change so much that you aren't you, but make sure you like who you are.
Oh, one last thing before you go; Can I have all of your accumulated Rep points? :ninja:

Aw.

Can’t say I’m not sad to see you go, Lost Nemesis; we’ve had some crazy fun times here on LO. But I understand your situation and admire your strength to make such a tough decision, and I hope you’ll find what you’re looking for. More than that, I hope your absence will be a hiatus only and that we’ll see you back here on LO sometime in the future when you’ve found yourself and are ready to return to the internet. As Robotnik says, chances are that we’ll all still be here to welcome you back.

Sad to hear that you are leving LN but hopefully you will come again back some time right????

LO will miss his words of wisdom and so on, but to find yourself is an important thing to do, so good luck with that LN....

Yep yep, taking a break is a good thing. I took a two month break from LO recently and went out with my buddies in Korea every night drinking, partying and generally raising hell. I mean, why sit around chatting online when there are hot Asian chicks everywhere.

Heck, I still go out every night, but I can slip onto the forums every once in a while now.

Well, you have over 4000 posts ( probably more considering LO's deletions ) and you have been here for about 16 months, so I have to agree that, WOW! you kinda did spend a lot of time here dude!

I did value your opinions and the advice you gave in threads I subscribed to, or started, so good luck in finding yourself.

Here's to hoping the person you find is just as cool as the person you log on as! :beer:
