It's good if you try to put a heavy and a special weapon in each squad. Light Infantry is really only good (IMO) if you want a sniper rifle. Drop the carapace on the officers and commissar, beleive me it won't make much difference. I find commissars overpriced, but I like the feel of them, but I wouldn't recommend taking them.

I like it, but I would reccomend changing the greneade launchers to plasmaguns or meltaguns. And I would also give sharpshooters to your heavy weapon squads (if you can afford the doctrine). The Commissars are pricey, but the fluff is excellent. And the Inquisitor could be torn to shreds too, I don't know if he just has too much. But about heavy weapons in squads: warrior poet, I know you think that they are required. However, in my experiance, I prefer only special weapons in squads. It allows the squads to move around and not loose too much firepower. It is also cheaper, so sacrificing front line guard squads is easier. This list will be tough to play with, but the fluff is great and I like the idea. Good luck.

the hvy bolter support squad is 80pts, not 70.

the inquisitor isnt really serving a role... they suck in cc.

and more importantly... you retinue is ILLEGAL. you cant have more than 3 of each type of henchmen. you have 5 warriors.

Whoops, miscounted on the bolter teams and mis read the henchmen rule, though I have to argue with gen.nehring on the inquisitors in CC. WS 5 I 5(with the proper henchmen of course) 4 attacks if armed with 2 weapons and being able to take a force weapon, that sucks? Warrior poet your right on the carpace armor for the commissars, and Alcibiades sharpshooters was already on the heavy weapon teams, though I am not sure if you were talking about the support squads or the regular squads. What I am going to do is drop a few warriors out of the Inquisitor's retinue, use those points to put sharpshooters on the remaining squads, and drop the carpace armor.

I mean sharpshooters for the support squads (3 heavy weapons, 6 guys). A lascannon team would be 120, heavy bolter, 90, and autocannon, 105.

Oh yeah, I just factored in the points of doctrines into the total cost, though for confusion sake I probally should have put it in the cost per unit.
