Here is paint scheme I will use for yet another army :)

I used dullcoat on the flesh and bone, then a poly acrylic on the armor plating to provide a more glossy coat. I am finding that the devlin mud can get pulled off by directly applying poly acrylic, so I am going to try a lite spray coat first.

That looks good and the carapace is well highlighted. I think that you should shade where the bone areas touch the other parts of the model. Shading them will make the fit in more with the rst of it.
The problem is the light I was using on the pics, there is actually a lot more definition and shading then can be seen in the pics. These were the best of the carapace I had taken.
