I play Plague Marines and after a couple of play tests I'm really liking the idea of a good sized squad of bikers with an Icon of Nurgle, complete with my sorceror leading them. However, if I bought everything the normal way it'd easily cost me £70 or more and I'm trying to think of ways to stop me spending so much on a single unit. Any ideas?

Ive seen some people use dire wolves/or whatever they called as bikes. THen they get world eater guys and convert them a little and you got the bike squad for about half i think. Also you can try ebay i always get half off everything there XD.

Thanks, not bad idea. I remembered I have some chaos fantasy knights knocking around that I never play with, think they might be gaining a bolter or two in the near future...

The best place two buy cheap bikes is ebay, i bought 8 plague marines and 8 berserkers for only 10.00

You could try to make slugs out of green stuff, or even just cheap putty of some sort. That'd look neeto like the card from the munchkin game "Snails on speed!"
