Hi all,
I am brand, and I mean BRAND new to Fantasy. I just picked up my army book today in fact. I have decided ot play Bretonians obviously cause I am going to be the first Bret player in my local area.

I needed some clarification as I try to write my first army list.

Tell me if I have this correct.

Every Bret army is REQUIRED to have at least 1 paladin,

AND

One of your Paladins is REQUIRED to be a Battle Standard Bearer

AND

Your BSB Paladin is NOT ALLOWED to be your commanding Character, meaning you must have a second paladin or a lord or damsel or etc.

Is that all correct?

Also are the Bretonian Magic Banners your BSB's only options?

Also with the BSB when it says he can't have additional equipment besides Mount do they mean AT ALL?

So its basically a guy riding a mount, holding a banner? no shield, no weapon no nothing??

if you dont give him a magical banner, he can still have magical equipment as long as it isnt a lance or shield.

Basically he can get magical equipment that replaces stuff he already has, like magical hand weapons, or magical armor (again as long as it isnt a shiled or contains a shield.

For example, I give my BSB a sword of might and the Gromril Great Helm.
