I’m currently creating an army with urban bases, but I’d also like to add some snow to the scenery as well using some of the techniques used to create this miniature!

So what is the best way to make snow?
How did he create the icicles?
And how did he add the flakes of snow to the miniature?

For the icicles he could of used hot glue and then let it dry and at the stuff just drip down then cut it off.
As for the snow he might have put stuff that he used for snow on him while he was wet so it would stick.
There is stuff at a crafts store that is kinda like static grass only it is white which also could be what he used.

I'm pretty sure the snow he used is white flock, and like Toon said, he could have put it on when the paint was still wet. As for the icicles, im not sure about those. My guess is that they are some type of glue, maybe hot glue or clear drying gel.

You could try out this method.
Or you could use soft flake snow.
