I would recommend that the armour and sword get some more shading and highlights. It would look a lot better then :yes:

Somethings are really good, I like the backpack's gentle colour-changes.
I agree with Da Mighty Camel and would like to add:
Pay some attention to the little details like his teeth and eyes. Try to make them look as natural as possible, these are the things that can make a model jump levels in realism.
