Anyway, I didn't say its a bad armylist to use, I just said that a standard eldar list would be better, they get assault weapons so it'd suit what you want to do better.
Lelith hesperax is a model that is very clearly dark eldar, she is a commonly known special character for them and wouldn't look right for her to be in a pirate army.
Eldar pirates are not the same as dark eldar, they don't eat souls and wear paper thin 6+ armour, they are well equipt, they use spirit stones and flyers (void dragon phoenix) Their pretty much just eldar that aren't bound by the strict laws of the craftworlds and obviously they don't live on craftworlds.
Its fine to do a pirates army with the dark eldar list, I just reckon normal eldar, specifically biel tan or ulthwe strike force would suit it better. Having lelith in their would be out of place, she's not exactly eldar pirate like..... besides... I have her model in my wych cult, it'd look pretty stupid if you had her in your pirates army (they don't train gladiators from commoragh, but if you want to spend your money on her (or whatever else) go ahead, nobody is stopping you. Just I have the models already and am putting them to use, so it'd look a bit.... dodgy if you turned up to the store with the same models as me, using the same list as me... And all the ideas that I came up with etc, etc...
I'm not saying that it doesn't irritate me, one of the major factors in me choosing dark eldar was that nobody else does and I can be original and different so...yeah...
