all you DA collectors,
how many plasma cannos do you have in your tactical squads???
do you have any at all???
are they a replacment for the rocket launcher or can you have both???
which one is the better one???rockets or plasma???

im not sure if by copy right junk i should say (if im not allowed i'll just delete this)

but a DA tac squad may exchange their lascannon for a plasma cannon.

and in general,
missles are slightly better against vehicles,
but plasma cannons are VERY good against infantry and not to shabby against tehivles either, but they do suffer from over heating......

Been collecting theDa's for more than a year now and i found out that plasma cannons are good for several reason.

They discourage others, there's nothing like fielding 5 tactical squads with a plasma cannon in each and seeing your opponent calculate the number of dead you can do in a round.

The bigest problem of plasma cannon is that they cut your mobility.
it's a big disadvantage whe nplaying against experienced people.

yup plasma rocks DA should equal Plasmafiends

fluffwise, since the Dark Angels are the oldest legion/chapter, they have access to vast stores of plasma weaponry. I field two tactical squads, each has a plasma cannon and plasma gun

Plasma vs. Rocket Launcher: DA fluff dictates plasma, I go with it, if you wanna adhere to fluff you will too :wink:

I'm building an all scout based army, hell i am just happy to be able to finnaly get a plasma gun in my command squad at least.

...Although, scouts do happen to have this unique ability to marine troops, well several actually, but this one i am talking about is called "autocannon"

Now say it with me "AUTOCANNON"



(but yeah i admit a fat load of good it'll do me when i have to face a mechanized force with nothing but heavy machine guns and melta bombs)
