what kind of save will you get if you have both a painboy or grotsnik with a nob squad, do you get 6/4+armor save->5+feel no pain->5+invul? or does something else happen?

From my understanding and local explanation on the rules is that you take the best armor save possible first. I.E. 6/4+ armor.... or if the 5+ invulnerable save is better then that then you use the invulnerable save. After choosing to use either the regular save or the invulnerable save... any unsaved wounds can now get the FNP roll.

So
Step 1 - Regular Armor save OR Invuln (whichever is better)
Step 2 - FNP

That would happen in a Warhammer Fantasy situation, where You roll armor, then Ward save (invulnerable). In 40k, you chose the best Save possible (armor or invulnerable), then followed by feel no pain if applicable.

Keep in mind that doc's rules still follow the codex (not the new rage one). You still have no control over the direction doc's unit goes. (goes towards nearest enemy, so can be kited around the board).

You can at least save the painboy cost if you take doc with the nobz though. It's kinda of redundant to have both.
