I have looked in the monstrous arcanum and really want to use the dread saurian. I was thinking of buying a plastic spinosaurus toy about 7-8 inch's high and sculpting the armour and talismans on it. I wanted to know if anyone has attempted this yet or if people are waiting for a forge world model?

I'm a pretty lazy person, so I'm still waiting on a Forge World model. I trust Forge World to make something better then whatever I can come up with, especially when you include all the lizardmen glyph plates.

I understand, just I really want to use one but I am not willing to use a carno as proxy even if my model will look like crappy.

Making your own sounds fine to me but it might be better to find a Model Kit of the Dinosaur you were going to use, i reckon you would get mroe detail and it will probably paint and glue better.

good point looks like a full blown online search is in order, still it will look crap as my green stuff skills are naff unless I get my girlfriend to do it.
