Allright, so as a player that haws played against eldar occasionally and usually lost, and a player who is starting an eldar army, I would really like to know what Eldar's weakness's are.

What should I watch out for when playing as Eldar, and what should I exploit when playing against them?

What has always caused problems for you guys?

This very same question has been asked many many many times. Do a searh for eldar weeknesses and you will get your answer.

Just support your units dont let them get caught out in the open and get your specialised sqauds doing what they do best e.g reapers mowing down infantry warp spiders harrasing your enemy. but eldar have poor saving throws so dont let them get caught on there own.

short answer

The troops tend to be fragile, and only really good at one thing.

They are also fairly 'expensive' points wise so you can be outnumbered often.

other threads expand upon that a great deal.

good luck!

There are no eldar weaknesses, only weak players :D

Take a good look at the eldar codex, every unit is one dimensional. Force it to play contra to what it is good at and you can crush eldar every time.

Getting shot at are their weakness. Now it sounds obvious and is like the same for like all other armies, but Eldar are an army that is supposed to beable to get up to the opponent and strike them before they can. If you manage to out manouver an Eldar player then you've won pretty much.

A typical army is built so that one units weakness is made up by the other. For example, Dire Avengers are excellent against infantry but not vehicles, the aspect warrior unit Fire Dragons will make up for this with their fusionguns. Now back to my first point, the army will hardly ever move as one huge mass, often deploying units where they are needed, for example, Dire Avengers facing towards the infantry, Fire Dragons against the tanks. The trick is to get your tanks to the Dire Avenegers and infantry to the Fire Dragons, break their shroud of protection made up by their other units. Eldar are faster than other armies so this makes it harder to do, depending on your opponents level of experience.

Most experienced Eldar players know this and will probably avoid revealing themselves unless they can get a posisitive stike during their next turn, or take a gamble with a heavier unit backed up by a Farseer.
