Thats it so far, 1753 points with 247 to go......
I want to fill up the remainder with a Noble on foot to act as my general (I am unsure how exactly to equip him), and either a Reaper Bolt Thrower or a small unit of Shades. This is my first Fantasy army, so any advice would be helpful.

Ok, check out these links for more Dark Elf magic items:

I say this because you can't have the same magic item (except Dispel Scrolls and Power Stones) in an army twice. Therefore one of your sorceresses is illegal. I would recommend giving the second one the Wand of Kharaidon (cast a spell without using power dice anyone?). As for the Seal of Ghrond, I think a dispel scroll would be more helpful, as 5 dispel dice isn't that much, probably better off with 4 dispel dice and a dispel scroll.
Also, why have you made one of the Dark Elf spearmen units so big? 20 is enough, so I would take out 8 from one unit, put 4 in the other, and also add a champion to the other as well.
Also, why units of 7 for cavalry? Do you have a reason? It just seems odd thats all. I would recommend units of 5 for the Dark Riders at least (more manouverable) and maybe just 5 for the Cold One Riders as well (and good choice on the warbanner!).
2 units of 16 executioners is an odd choice too. They are often taken in units of 12-15 for flank charges, I'm not too sure if they would be a good choice for a large holding unit, as they are fairly expensive....although if you can gaurantee the charge with them then maybe it would work...but I don't think you need 2 units of them (but that's just me, the decision is up to you! :w00t: ). With your remaining points (you will have more left if you have taken some of my advice too) I think you should definately invest in 2 RBTs (remember you can take 2 as one rare choice.) Also, yes shades are a good choice. They tend to work well in units of 5 I find. You could also consider harpies (although if you add in the shades, you will have used up all 4 of your special choices). I think also that another units of Dark Riders could work well, but it is up to you.....
I hope I was of some help :|
