I don't live in Canada, but I do order quite a bit of Forgeworld stuff. I quit ordering from them direct as they often take too long. I order my stuff from dungeontrader.com and The War Store. They are both US located, but they should be able to get you your goodies much faster since they are in stock. I don't know how that would affect the price you'd pay in Canada.

Personally, I buy my forgeworld over rthe counter from Warhammer World in Nottingham, from which I live a five minute drive from ;) so I can't really comment. However, once, there was a model that was out of stock, and it took three weeks to arrive at my house, when they promised three days. <_< Their excuse was that the guy who handles forgeworld deliveries was on holiday. Please tell me there isn't only one guy who handles forgeworld deliveries!

Best bet if you live in canada is to get it from a reputable reseller, as you will at least know it is in the country and has a lower chance of getting lost. Hopefully the reseller will also be better organised than GW.

I live near you, but on the US side, so I feel your pain. Everything is already expensive, up to $20 of merchandise is $6.50 shipping!

They usually got some bad excuses for long delivery time.
When I bought some stuff about 2 months ago it took them 2 weeks to get it over to me in Norway.
That's about 1.5 hours by plane from Nottingham.
A distance of maybe 800 to 1000 kilometres away...
I could have been for the stupid customs in Norway, but i can't say for sure.

At least the stuff eventually got to me, so you needent worry about that.
The stuff will reach it's location, in best condition....it only takes time.
