I'm going to be playing with a friend who plays empire and will 500pts as well and we are going to be playing against his brother and one of his brothers friends. Both with have 500 pts as well. they wont care about the 5 points extra.

If I were you, I'd ask if I could ditch the BSB. As of now, your characters take about a third of your force. An extra lance of knights or block of [email protected] wouldn't hurt at all.
