Future Iw Army

I am planning on starting an iron warrior army after my 3000ptish DG army, but I have a few questions to ask. I do know about the what I should equipped or have for them but I need some clarification about them, just saying I might need your advice BiD and/or Dragonslayero since you guys are IW players.

1)What do you guys ususally equip your ASp. champs if you guys have any?
2)I understand about the 0-1 thing beening ignored for oblits for IW, but I might need someone to help me put that in more simple, easy terms, I have trouble w/ detail or confusing things like this

THat is actually about it and later I will post the army list either here or in the army list section for any comments or any changes that needs to be made.

Actually I still have one slot left for Fast Attack, but I wasn't sure about if I should have Raptors. I only took up 2 of the slots for Fast Attack for the Defiler.
ya, i like raptors personally, if the enemy gets through the line of fire, then assault w/ raptors.
Will do Sir. I am just now not sure what to arm Raptors :( Since I play w/ Nurgle now, I can't use Raptors :( or any other fast attack. My fast attack are weak tac man w/ a rhino :(
As your Lord has Terminator armour he can't have a plasma pistol or Daemonic Flight. Give him a regular power weapon in addition to the Chainfist, and use spiky bits rather than mastercrafted (saves 5 pts, and you can use it with both weapons).

The rest of the list looks good to me though, perhaps use 1 or 2 squads of troops as assault troops (pistols, assault weapons and rhino), but that's about all I'd change.
thanks alot and also should I try to do some conversions on the lord and some of the other units? I was think of replacing the normal chaos chainfist and add a different arm or buy a cooler lokking chainfist. Also, should I convert the oblits to lokker cooler? It is just a thought and I was looking for advice about this.
Well, you could try to convert them, but personally I think they look sweet enough as is. What did you have in mind for them?
Well what I had mind was that for the lord one of his hands was goning to be more robotic and instead of having a normal hand it was going to be a chainfist or a chainsaw arm. For the other arm it will ahve a power weapon, so no big conversion there.

For the oblits, I looked up this link:

And this guy did great conversions on his oblits and so I got inspired to do something like it.

For normal marines they will be normal, but some might have few tiny conversions.

The tanks mostly the vindicator and bas will be converted big time to fit the IW sceam

Could you clarify something about the Chosen: it looks like only 2 of them have terminator armour, whilst the rest has termy weapons but not the armour :huh: .
Think about giving the termies with Reapers some chainfists in case they run into a vehicle (mine usually do at some point ;) ).

I'd also drop the basilisk's Mutated Hull, it's not meant to be targettable in the first place, but that's my personal take on it.

For the Raptors, consider swapping the plasma guns for 1 more meltagun and a flamer, this is what I use and it works great, if you're about to charge a fairly strong/large squad the flamer can make a big difference, and the meltaguns can usually take care of any vehicles around.

and totally off the subject, I was looking at all the moderators on this forum and I must say look quite normal for being a wicken person. I just got bored that is all. Also, I always thought wicken people dressed up more gothic type or something close to that. Also I like the hair style....Sorry I can't help to be curious at times.

Okay looks good enough, consider buying one or two rhinos so you can deploy a unit closer to an enemy (preferably on a flank for more fun). I see you use a plasma pistol in the Raptor squad, personally I don't use those anymore (they were only 5 pts in the old 'dex <_< ), as the meltagun gives you more effiency against vehicles for the same points, but if you feel you need the extra attack I guess it's okay.
hey thanks, for the plasma pistol, I might actually drop it to a normal bolt pistol and I will probably add two rhinos for flanking. Hope you do well.
