im starting a genestealer cult army, (using the bell of lost souls codex) and was wondering if anyone knew of a better magus model than the old guy with the staff, fantasy or 40K range is fine, as long as it fits in your opinion. Thanks!

Glue a Genestealer head to one of the fantacy wizards, also see if youcan give him the rending claws from the genestealers as well.

Here you go pal,
I think any one of these could be used a great Genestealer magus.
Some may need more work than others, try adding Genestealer skulls
and other bits and bobs. But bear in mind the Genestealer magus is not the
cults leader warrior, they are the cults main point of contact between themselves
and the planets human(or xeno) population. So they would be almost Human looking
with just pale blue’ish skin and maybe small fangs. Leave rending claws and third arms
to your Hybrids.
Good Luck

maybe you could go for some of the LOTR range, like saruman (the one where he has been defeated, and a weakend version of himself) Is a guy which points forward, with a hood. It's called Sharkey, but it seems there is no blister of him or something like that.

Codex is cool by the way :)
