Hey all, sorry if this is in the wrong section, but it seemed to fit the best to me.

Anyway, I just got some IG tanks from a trade, and they have sand glued to the turrets. Anyone know any good glue solvents?

Thanks in advance.

not that a i know of, you can try, acetone, but it would eat your whole model, you could try brake fluid, though it would take out all the paint on the model, but it would to the job.

If that is okay.

Heh, well both those ideas are seeming better than my using a exacto knife to take off one grain at a time. Thanks.

you could try a sanding drum on a dremal, but I would use acetone though it will remove paint,

I advise actually using the x-acto knife and taking all the time that you can with it. There's no solvent out there that you can safely use, and a dremel is going to tear it up. I've had to do this before and used tweezers and an x-acto in combination.

It's a long process, but consider the fact that you'll be doing it right the first time without harming the model.
