I did make a few small changes to the model between modelling and painting. Added the eye protection, trimmed the backpack a little, repositioned the arm to be holding the weapon, and added bicep pockets.
I wanted to see if I could paint the model in US Army ACUs. Overall I think this guy turned out pretty good. He still distinctly has a lasgun and imperial equipment, but in an arrangement and with accessories an actual soldier might wear. Almost makes me wish I could do a whole army of em (cringes)
I left the lascarbine off for the first few pics so you could more easily see the vest and face. Also included a pic at the end to give you a side-by-side comparison of the model and some actual ACU pattern camo.
