Any news on what will be GW next project once tau empire is released?

Chances are it will be either the dark angels, blood angels or space wolves. GW just loves the space marines so much they get a release after an enitre race gets a release.

Yes, it sucks for the rest of us, but GW's plan is to release an army and then immediately release another chapter of Space Marines after each army.

Our best guess is that Orks will be next, since they were featured fairly heavily in the Black Templars Codex. Since Tyranids were featured heavily in the Ultramarine Codex, it only stands to reason.

However, they could totally surprise us all and actually to the RIGHT thing by fixing the most jacked up list in the game right now which is Eldar and most definitely not Orks. At least no one whines about Orks being broken.

And that's becuase Orks can't be broken, as long as they are orks nad get to fight everybody will be happy!
I say it is 50/50 on the next alien race. we have seen some concept art from the orks, but no actual models (ok, the burna boy and kommandos released with new City Fight) and the Eldar have their Rangers exsposed (also released with new city fight).
Personally, I want Eldar. They need the rules and Orks need new models.
Give me Eldar!

Maybe wishful thinking, and possibly related to the release of the Taros campaign book, but I noticed that the Tallarn desert raiders have been promoted from 'classic' to 'current' IG troopers on the GW online shop. The Vallahans are also being sold in a boxset.

Well there's the upcoming cityfight 2 codex (I forget the exact name - someone will tell you).

That's apparently going to have new units in it for current armies, like the IG Vostrayans etc...

their current project is CF2 which will feature upgrades for most armies, after that we'll most likely see eldar, followed by a christmas release for a SM chapter, most likely DA as their is concept art of them.

Nope, this has already been confirmed no to be the case.

all the other rumours such as Exodites and harlies being there... i really doubt it.

If you think about it, if you combined all that in one codex you'd have an army that would have endless combinations and such.. and that would be crazy, and that would be too much work.

Why combine them all together, when you can sell them OPTIONAL seperate.. and get more green?

after Cities of Death (cityfight II) it's going to be Dark Angels, probably them coming out early christmas. After that, Orks (They've already got the concepts floating around), probably for the spring or late winter, and then another SM chapter (my bet is either Space Wolves or Blood Angels, but you never know) coming out by next summer. Then, Eldar for xmas, another SM chapter, Dark Eldar, and Ordo Xenos. In approxomately that order.

It's all an educated guess after Orks. Orks are defintely going to be next though because the concept art for them is floating around already. Whereas there is no Eldar concept art out yet. (the rangers are a release for Cities of Death) And Eldar and Dark Eldar WILL be seperate codexes (codicies?) this has already been stated by GW. Having just Codex: Eldar is like having Codex: Imperium, it's simply too diverse for it all to be swept into one pile. There may be a seperate codex for harlies, but if there is that's not coming for some time.

where is everyone getting their information? seriously. i keep hearing a new scheme of how things are going to go every time i turn a corner. where is this info coming from? GW? friends? other sites? where? i really want to know.

Kind of. Some people have their personal wish-lists that turns in to wide-spread rumors (like that CWE/DE-'dex. It started as a wish-thing from an GW-dude and then made it in to a massive rumor thanks of Portent) and some rumors start from things like : "oMg my local GW-dude says that they are gonna drop the DE! Omg roxz0rz it must be true!!!111" while others are posted by GW-people (altough they never admit it).
