I'm about to expand the 5-man tactical squad in my blood angels army up to ten men and add some heavy weapons. The rest of the army are assault marines and death company. i just need a unit to camp on objectives and perhaps provide a bit of fire-support.

What do you usually fight against? A nice 'safe' option is the missile launcher.

quite a wide variety of armies, Chaos marines, tyranids, necrons, ultra-smerfs, demons... quite a wide variety of armies to be perfectly honest i think a missile launcher would be the best option the armies i'm most worried about is horde armies that can bog down my assault squads and shooty and manouvreable armies (like mech guard) that can blast me to pieces before i close with them and hack them to pieces... i'm thinking missile launcher or heavy bolter

Well ML can also deal with light vehicles, which a heavy bolter would struggle with - and nothing upsets a daemon prince like a krak missile to the face
