I was considering creating a poll but I'm not exactly sure how to do it. Could someone please give me an idea. So far I see how to edit the number of poll options but I'm not sure how to create the options so you can vote for them.

Post new thread -> checkbox 'Create a poll with this number of options' just about Posting Permissions -> submit new thread -> should give you the new page where you can edit your options.

Thanks Lost Nemesis, I actually discovered it just after I posted this by doing just that! I meant to come back and delete or edit this thread, but I couldn't sign for a bit.

Anyways, my only other question.."Is there a way to create multiple questions for a poll?"

Unfortunately no; the only way to try and make two questions in a poll is to just to write them in there, and hope people follow that for voting. Make sure you put a closing date on all polls!

Is there a way to edit or add a closing date after you've created the poll?

Yep, just edit your post and there should be an option to edit the poll. You can add the closing date from there.
