Hi
This is my usual Chaos Space Marine list. although i have a good Win-Lose ratio Id like to have an even better army for a local campaign my mates running so its up for the trials. Any help on how to improve it is welcomed.

HQ

Lord Doomblade - 130

It'sa nice balanced army with plenty of shooty and hitty stuff and it's done well for me but can you think of anything I could improve?
Any help would be nice. Cheers.

Its alright but i think that the bikes and bloodletters could get a bit overwhelmed in combat as they are unsupported then the enemy could all advance and destroy the shooty units.
It would work against some armies but against a horde ork army it wouldnt do too well.
Swap the obliterator for some more bikes or a small squad with a heavy bolter.

the bikes have 4A each :D on the charge to deal with orcs, the oblitirator can morph hvy.bolter and the missile launchers can go frag 2. but i see ur point. ill think about it <_<

Iv thought about it & ill drop 5 bloodletters and add another mini squad of mARINES W/LASCANNON AND BULK UP MY OTHER SQUADS

i got sum help 4 u,
get sum terminators and give one an auto cannon and one a laz cannon!
u need a 2+ armour save and they got good weapons!
get sum damn terminators :p

Here's a thought, maybe instead of having a bunch of squads of five w/ 1 heavy weapon, get a squad of havocs w/ a mix, or if u want to take out a specific target, give them all missile launchers. Then u can make assaulty squads of CSM, which are my fav, w/ furious charge, or maybe even berzerkers, but I hate the idea of CSMs standing still, it's just wrong.

4A on the charge is good but it is on the charge and even though bikes are fast, there are enemy units that are faster (fleet of claw, foot ,hoof, wing) they have a potential to assault from 24" away 6" move, up to 6" fleet of foot and 6" charge.
Blood angels = 12 move in vehicles, +6" from overcharged engines (disembark even after 18" move because they are blood angels then 6" assault) They also get +1S and +1I on the charge so a veteran squad with cc weapons could have
40 S5 I5 attacks, so it could be more difficult see.
And if you ran into a mass of plasma fire from dark angels or 100+ lasguns then you are dead.
I'm just saying that this list has its weaknesses.
Some raptors would back up your assault nicely.
You should decide to make it assault based or combat based, because a specialit of one type could destroy your army.
An assault army would have loads of power wps and shooty loads of Ap 3, 2 ,1
So you wouldnt have much chance.
This list has potential to be good but needs working on.
