I have the army, um.... now what?

Hey. i've been a longtime player of 40k and now have a pretty sizeable ig force. to break the monotony of painting 200 plus guardsmen, I pickd up a bit of vc to paint along the way. I'm interested in fielding the army now, but I'm unsure of how to make a decent list for what i have. could someone make me a list showing e a rough idea of how to field what I have? thanks in advance.

15 ghouls

20 skeletons unbuilt
20 skeletons unbuilt
20 skeletons w/hand weapons and standard
20 skeletons w/spears and musician
30 armored skeletons w/command (thought about making grave guard)
8 black knights
15 skeletons
army standard
wight lord mounted
vampire lord on winged nightmare
10 grave guard and command
vampire lord on nightmare
3 wight lords
2 banshees
5 spirit hosts
1 wraith
vampire lord on foot.
necromancer

Could someone please make sense of this chaos. yeah, I know, a bit skeleton heavy but i'm a sucker for them.

I suggest you head into the army list subforum and read through a bunch of the other lists there, and look at the advice given on them. We're not here to make a list for you, but if you do a bit of research then try a list we'll help, no matter how much work it may need.

i recon just get a couple of necromancers and you will have a kick ass list apart from the seriously large amount of skeletons and you might wont to get some dire wolfs and bats becouse it is not a overly mobile army

The grave guard are too small too use. I'd buy another ten or for friendly games, use skeletons for the back ranks.

You won't be fielding that many skeletons but you'll have plenty for raising.

My typical 2000 pt list looks something like this:

Count
lvl 2 necro
lvl 2 necro
thrall or wight lord

skellies
skellies or zombies
wolves x 2
ghouls

spirit hosts three bases
grave guard x 20 -OR- black knights x 7 (I like a mounted thrall or wight lord here, nasty)
fell bats x 3 or 4

maybe a banshee, maybe a black coach

I'd say look around at the lists in here and see what appeals to you. You have enough models to experiment with just about any build.

But you should add ghouls and necromancers.
