Well i want some Tau for my first army and i dont know what to start out with any help or good lists to start out with 100 dollars?

Welcome to the Forum KS. I think you might have more luck in the Tau Forum LINK rather than the 'buy and trades' section. Go over there so the veterans can help you out...... If there are Tau Veterans. Do Tau live long enough to be veterans? Can't see that happening..

First, if you buy online you can get 20% off at a variety of places like chaosorc's and chaos mail order, and do better than that if you'll go on ebay and bartertown and keep an eye out for a good deal.

Second, if you don't know where you're going to go to start off, a really good starting place is the tau battle force. It is a solid collection of 12 firewarriors, 3 stealth suits, 3 crisis suits, some drones, and a piranha. Stealth suits and piranhas aren't super competitive, but they're good enough for friendly games and you won't be embarrassed having them in your collection. (Also, if you don't like something, go somewhere like bartertown and trade it off for stuff you do like.) All together, the battle box comes to $154 worth of the models if you were to buy them all separately at GW prices, and you can get it online for $96. It won't give you an actual HQ, but you can proxy one of the crisis suits as a commander, or go unbound.
