Ideas for Marine Chapter

Got bored so I came up with a new space marine chapter wanted a chapter that was totally different from the current ones. Fluff for them is mostly that they are very unforgiving and purge any who are not pure. They use mass amounts of drop pod to perform blitz attacks and have forsaken heavy tanks.

Alpha Squad: HQ Choice
Unit Size: 1-10 Veteran
Veteran WS 4 / BS 4 / S 4 / T 4 / W 1 / I 4 / A 2 / Ld 9 / Sv 3+ / 25 points
Type: Infantry
Equipment: Power Armor, Frag + Krak Grenades, Bolt Pistol, Combat Blade, Boltgun, Purity Rounds.
Special Rules: And They Shall Know No Fear, Counter Attack, Combat Leader.
Options:
- Any may replace their Bolt Pistol and / or their Combat Blade with one of the following.
• Lightning Claw or Storm Shield at + 15 points
• Powerfist at + 20 points
• Thunder Hammer at + 25 points
- Any may replace their Boltgun with one of the following.
• Storm Bolter or Combi-(flamer, melta or plasma) at + 5 points.
- Any may be given one of the following special rules.
• Hatred at + 30 points
• Wrath at + 20 points
• Vigilance at + 20 points
- Any may be given the following.
• Melta Bombs at + 5 points
• Jump Pack at + 15 points
- The unit may take a Drop Pod at + 35 points or a Crusader Pod at + 40 points.

Ironclad Dreadnought: Heavy Support Choice

- May exchange their Storm Bolter for a Melta Gun or Heavy Flamer at + 10 points.
- May exchange their Melta Gun for a Heavy Flamer at + 5 points.
- May exchange their DCCW for a Hurricane Bolter for free.
- May exchange their Seismic Hammer for a Chainfist at + 5 points.
- May be given the following.
• Ironclad assault Launchers at + 15 points
• Up to two Hunter-Killer Missiles at + 5 points each
- May take a Drop Pod at + 35 points or a Crusader Pod at + 40 points.

Delta Squad: Heavy Support Choice

Type: Open-Topped
Transport: May hold 12 infantry models or a dreadnought. All passengers must immediately disembark once deployed and may not embark on the Pod for the rest of the game.
Equipment: Storm Bolter.
Special Rules: Drop Pod Assault, Inertial Guidance System, Immobile.
Options:
- May be given Assault Hatches at + 40 points.

Redeemer Pod: Dedicated Transport
Unit Size: 1 Redeemer Pod
Redeemer Pod BS 4 / FA 12 / SA 12 / RA 12
Type: Open-Topped
Transport: May hold 5 infantry models.
Equipment: Storm Bolter.
Special Rules: Drop Pod Assault, Inertial Guidance System, Immobile, Stabilizer Ports.
Options:
- May be given a Locator Beacon at + 20 points.
- May replace its Storm Bolter with an Auto Cannon at + 10 points.

Equipment: As per Codex: Space Marines if not listed below.
- Weapons:
- Combat Blade: A close combat weapon.
- Purity Blade: Counts as force weapon that grants + 1 strength.
- Gear:
- Purity Rounds: May be fired from a Bolt Pistol, Boltgun (including combi) and Storm Bolters. They have the following profile. Range (as the firing weapon), Strength 4, AP 5, Poisoned 4+, Ignore Cover Saves, Type (as the firing weapon).
- Purifier Hood: If an enemy psyker is within 24” and attempts a psychic test you may roll a d6 on the roll of a 4+ they suffer a perils of the warp. Has no effect if the psychic test causes a perils of the warp nor does it affect if the power is successful.
- Assault Hatches: Models may assault the turn they disembark from the vehicle.

Psychic Powers: A Master Priest must have two of the following powers but may only use one power per turn unless upgraded to a Master Psyker in which case he may use up to two powers per turn.
- None Shall Stand Before Me: Enemey models within 18” that do not have an AV treat all terrain as both difficult and dangerous. This power is used in the psykers movement phase and last until the start of their next movement phase.
- Reckoning: This is a psychic shooting attack with the following profile. Range 18”, Strength d3+1, AP 3, Large Blast, Assault 1.
- We Stand in Darkness: The psyker and any friendly unit with a model within 12” of the psyker become fearless for the duration. This power is used in the psykers movement phase and last until the start of their next movement phase.
- My Will Be Done: All successful saves verse wounds caused by the psyker must be rerolled. This power is used in the psykers movement phase and last until the start of their next movement phase.
- Shatter: Enemy units within 18” of the psyker must reroll successful moral tests. This power is used in the psykers movement phase and last until the start of their next movement phase.

Special Rules: As per Codex Space Marines / 40K Rule Book if not listed below.
- Hatred: The model and all models in a unit containing him gain the Preferred Enemy USR.
- Wrath: The model and all models in a unit containing him gain the Furious Charge USR.
- Vigilance: The model and all models in a unit containing him gain the Relentless USR.
- Combat Support: Before the battle, each model must be split off and assigned to a unit from the following list: Alpha Squad, Beta Squad, Delta Squad, or Echo Squad. Only one model may join a unit this way, and it is done after a unit combat squads. If the unit is in a drop pod or crusader pod and combat squads after landing simply pick which combat squad the model is with.
- Combat Leader: Before the battle, each model may be split off and assigned to a unit from the following list: Beta Squad, Delta Squad, or Echo Squad. Only one model may join a unit this way, and it is done after a unit combat squads. If the unit is in a drop pod or crusader pod and combat squads after landing simply pick which combat squad the model is with.
- Stabilizer Ports: Embarked models count as having not moved for the purposes of shooting and may shoot on the turn they deepstrike.
- Coordinated Launch: You may reroll reserve rolls if your army contains a model with this rule.
- Liturgies of Purity: If the model with this rule or a unit he is attached to are affected by a psychic power that power is nullified on a d6 roll of 2+. Pyskers may not use powers if under the protection of this ability.
