Not sure though if this army is a good army that people will enjoy playing. But I think it still fits the Iron Warrior theme a bit, but where the ydon't need really tanks to take out heavy armro stuff etc. They ahve the missile launcehrs to do that ^_^. The Heavy Bolter havocs I learned is very evil on amries with a crappy save (I think in 2 turns they wiped out a 20 guardian sqaud without recieving damage, though this was in a 1000pt list where I ahd only 5 guys >_>) So any comments and critiques will be nicely helped. :)

Thats about it from your Sexeh Japanese girl of LO

It's good that you've remembered the free siege specialists, I always forget!

I would swap the autocannons for plasma guns on all your troops, maybe take one guy off and have 2 in each squad?

I think you should spread your heavy weapons around a bit more, if that one havoc squad with the missile launchers is in a bad position and gets destroyed then you don't have many other heavy weaons to take out tanks and other heavy support choices. Maybe swap them for more obliterators?

Another thought, as most people play power armoured armies you have few weapons that can get through their armour. Those heavy bolters for one of you havoc squads would be better being AP 3 or 2 weapons.

Your aspiring champions in all your squads are amazing, if a little expensive, although if your squads are going to be shooty then I wouldn't bother with them.

maxing out in troop choices is definetly the way to go but the way you have done it is a bit skew-wiff.

drop the aspiring champions from most of your squads. especially the havocks theyre a waste of points forthe return that you'll get from them in a game

change 2 of the squads to close combat orientation these get the aspiring champ where his extra a and ld plus access to the armoury come in real handy add dem visage and you could be looking at -6 to your opponents ld for a break test.

drop the heavy weapons from the squads you'll have to stay stationary to use them and a mobile army will just catch up to you very quickly. and you waste the shots whenever you move and you will want to dependant on the mission that you are playing. swap these with assault weapons either plasma or meltaguns though i tend to go for one of each.

with the lt his main advantage is the numbar of attacks he gets and his initiative over ordinary troops, so giving him a chain fist robs him of his main bonus in the game, termie armour is ok but it severely limits the gifts you can give this guy and at 156 your lt is only 9 points cheaper than my lord, and he usally comes with;
power weapon, power fist, demonic strength, visage, mutation, flight, spikey bits, infiltrate and furious charge.

this means he's a st 6 against troops or st10 against vehicles with 6 attacks on the charge, he sets up just over 18'' from your opponent (max) and has a potential move of 18'' per turn. also remember as he is a unit on his own in combat he reduces your opponents ld by -2 if he wins the combat

the single obliterator bah i never play with these guys at 70 pts per model and a single melta, or lascannon krak missile shot can instant death him (remember he only has t5 due to demonic resiliance).

one thing you really are missing is the iron warriors biggest strength imo the basilisk theyre the ONLY marine army in the entire game that can have this piece of kit and that ordenance blast will cause your opponent no end of trouble, and he will waste a lot of time trying to take it out. and whilst he's shooting at that he aint shooting at the rest of your army.

but once again this is just my ownway of playing with them
