This is just one of the many irrational arguments that people tried to use against DnD, and to me, they seem less thought out than the cartoon he created as a reaction to such claims. They go on to list how so many young people who play DnD killed themselves because of the game, but how many times have you heard about a "Pro-Life Christian" murdering an abortion Doctor because they think that what they do (the abortion doctors) is murder? Seems to be a contradiction of terms if I'm not mistaken. I could go on about how people think that computer game violence is linked to violence in real life (just look at the reaction to the Columbine shootings). People will always try to find an excuse as to why horrific events occur (need I mention the so called 'war on Terrorism?') while they completely ignore the most obvious of facts.Just because the people playing D&D think they are playing a game doesn't mean that the evil spirits (who ARE very real) will regard it as a game.
