i was wondering..i know that a pure grey knight army is really hard to play with...do you guys have any advice on what i should add:

2X grey knight marine box set (troops)
1X grey knight termies (hq and retinue)
1X dred box set (hvy support)
1X black reach dred im gonna maul into a grey knight dred
1X land raider
i have lot of marines and guard ill use if i have to..but at the moment im going for a pure GK army

any advice on how not to lose? what to add etc

Land raiders... lots of them. Need all the heavies you can get... of course you could ally in IG for meltas.

GKTs are great too. I use 2 full squads and a 3 man ret with my Grand master.

When it comes to pure GK, either LRs or Dreads are the only thing you're looking at for real Anti-Tank power. Sisters of Battle are a good way to add in fast/durable units as well if you don't want to include Guard and while not pure GKs they ARE "Pure" xD
