This is part of a group of polls on how powerful various units are to help me in the writing of my new tactica. I am not going to post my opinions straight away as I don't want to influence people.
This poll is about the Troops choice Kabalite Warriors. To get a better handle on what the voting scale represents you can read it in its entirety Here
much needed unit (especially the DL's) as they can bring a Splinter cannon and Blaster to the party, and when coupled with a raider or WWP they can pop out in the dying turns as a nice 20-man strong squad! this is bound to scare ur opponent
a solid choice for obvious reasons, they do ok but are like other basic troops it all comes down to your rolling. My two squads armed with blasters, splinter cannons and a sybarite with a blast pistol all mounted in raiders of course, prepare the way for the rest of the force.
A solid choice, a ten man squad in a Raider with a blaster and a splinter cannon gives you a nice floating gun platform. No point tooling them up for close combat as there are better units to spend these points on. You can upgrade the leader for that extra point of leadership if you think it will be useful.
A good ballistic skill, cheap, multiple viable transport options, multiple weapon options to focus their role, and they carry poisoned weapons (4+) as standard weaponry. 'Nuff said.
For 9 points you get a soldier with good statline and awesome rules. They can also be geared to take on anything. Easily one of the best troops choices in the entire 40k game.
Out of all the base options this one here is one you can't go wrong with. 10 guys in a raider with SC and Blaster upgrade. The gun boat continues to be worth its salt.
