Konrad von Carstein (awesome hero!)

Vampire
Infinite Hatred
Avatar of Death
Blood Drinker
Talisman of the Lycni (this is for overrunning, works hideously well)

Core
25 Skeletons

Full Command

25 Skeletons
Shields and Hand Weapons
Standard and Champion
216

5 Dire Wolves

Copse Cart
Lodestone
100

Rare
Varghulf

1001

Heya, i used this list today and it worked wonders. Konrad massacred his way through a Stegadon, 8 saurus, a skink hero, and a Scar Veteran. I love him!

Tactics: Well, the two Skeleton units march up to the enemy, trying to keep losses to a minimum on Konrads unit, as they get replaced in combat for the other Vampire's. The Varghulf escorts the wolves, and, while it charges the front of a unit, the wolves hit the flank/rear and they break most things, after a while.

C&C wanted, and appreciated.

So how did you use the lycini vamp for overrunning?
Well, he sat in one skelly block, and when they won combat, he got to overrun 3D6, while the skellies stayed still, so they didnt expose their flanks. Meaning if they charged the vampire then they got flanked by skellies ;)

Was he with wolves? On his own?
With the Skellies

I was always a believer in the magic phase for VC in the past, but I don't see it being so necessary now. How did you feel not using magic? Did you get any spells through?
Well, i just cast Invocation and my bound spell from the cart. I got the odd one through, my opponent only had 3DD. Once his mage died it got a lot easier :)

In addition, i still think magic is necessary, but not in as large quantities. I have 9PD, and 3 bound spells in 2500. It does fine after turn 2 (post Scrolls). We only need one caster per 3 blocks or so in my opinion, as the Infantry really only need to provide 2 or 3 CR for our killy units, as theyre so much better now :)
