Traits: Never dispair, unhold the honour of the emperor.

Disadvantages: flesh over steal, die standing.

This chapter is a sucessor chapter to the ultramarines. They have been resently founded, with very little supplies. The normal armourments that would acompany a space marine army are simply unavailable untill the ultra marines, and a few there successors can finish supplying them.

However word has reacted there chapter master, that the supplies are likely to never come, as the dark crusade is upon us.

Never the less, the chapter master has order a full counter attack, to the ravaging xenos.

Im willing however it listen to power game suggestions, and any others that anyone might have. Thanks

90 Space marines counting the chaplain as 2, since hes got 2 wounds.

Comments and suggestions please.

oi i've never seen 90 marines in an army at 1850pts :O

i think tank hunters for only the lascannon and the plasma gun isnt worth its points
(the plasma gun will possibly never be in range)

i would switch veterans with tacticals and make the veterans assaulty and tacticals shooty

doesnt 'unhold the honour of the emperor' mean that those veterans get a 6+ save?
(theyre footslogging so they might need it)

all in all your list looks great!

iron warriors and imperial guard will love you^^

90 marines is great and all, but they tend not to do so well when they have no means of effecient transportation. I would replace flesh over steel with something else, and drop an assault squad to get a bunch of drop pods.

Well, the reason for the veterans having tank hunters, is that it boosts the lascannon up to 10S. That seems worth the points to me. And any transports, or anything that basically came withen out of there deployment zone would be getting hit by the plasma guns. As i would have no problem deploying my shooty elements up front. While the troops swarm around them.

Any more thoughts?

i think the lack of safe transport will be negated by the fact that there are SO many marines to kill. Its great survivability. even if you lost 2-3 whole squads while your footslogging you would still have half a dozen squads by the time you get there. its a brilliant strategy in my opinion, using the 'horde' tactic with an elite type army.. good stuff.

As stated, shooty armies would put a rather large dent in this army b4 u get there. i would reccomend 1 'suicide' squad as i like to call them. to deep strike or drop pod in and assult the enemies heavy weapons team. eg dev's or choas havocs etc. heavy weapons are the game winners, take em out..
