This is all pretty preliminary, as I dont have much of the stuff yet, but tell me what you think.

HQ-

Shas'O w/ plasma rifle, burst cannon, and multitracker

Elites -

4 crisis suits, all with tw plas rifles. Not sure about other system yet. I'm thinking target locks and shield drones scattered about.

Troops -

3 squads of 10 firewarriors. Each one with a Shas'ui leader, and a marker light. Although I'm debating a couple of them.

Heavy support-

2 Broadsides with multitrackers. Debating plasma rifles
1 hammerhead w/ railgun (is there any other kind of hammerhead :) ) and smart missle system.

I've drawn out some movement diagrams from the last game I played with my SM playing friend (I was using my chaos army), and I'm able to kill pretty much everything within 3 turns, and sometimes the beginning of the 4th, but that doesn't take his devastators into consideration (how much they are firing). Can't wait to see librarian get ripped apart by a railgun :D

ok heres some good suits

Shas'vres: Twin Linked Plasma Rifles, Missle Pod, HW Multi Track OR Plasma Rifle Missle Pod Multi track and HW drone control with two gun drones

Shas'uis: Plasma Rifles, Missile Pod, Multi Track

Yes you want plasma rifles on your broadsides and they want two gundrones gun drone buddies a piece.

Your Shas'o Wants two body guards both with the first option under the Shas'vres up top, He wants Plasma rifle, fusion blaster, shield generator, HW Multi Track, HW Drone Control with two gun drones

Dont worry about putting your list here every one does.

I'd put the body guards in, or move some from the elites to HQ, but I just dont have the pts. Any suggestions? I already had to bump all squads from 12-10 :( .

Hey onion lets look at your list

Shas'O w/ plasma rifle, burst cannon, and multitracker

(( I personnally dont care burst cannons on my shaso since he has a BS of 5 I like to see him shooting better weapons. SHould defientely think about giving him a missile pod or fusion blaster.))
Elites -

4 crisis suits, all with tw plas rifles. Not sure about other system yet. I'm thinking target locks and shield drones scattered about.

((I havnt seen anyone use this before but if your facing off against marines you'll kick booty. Make sure to coordinate thier attacks and keep the Shaso close by for some extra kills. Defientely put out some gun drones for fodder.))

Troops -

3 squads of 10 firewarriors. Each one with a Shas'ui leader, and a marker light. Although I'm debating a couple of them.
((Drop the markerlights and add firewarriors. In low point games the extra guns will be more worthwhile.))

Heavy support-

2 Broadsides with multitrackers. Debating plasma rifles
((Again low point games dont worry about plasma rifles, let your crisis suits handle it. These guys should be blasting anything that comes out in the open with their railguns. DOnt forget to give one a target lock and the other a drone controller shield drones preferable for these guys if possible.))

1 hammerhead w/ railgun (is there any other kind of hammerhead ) and smart missle system.
((If your facing off against marines for sure a hammerhead with an ion cannon works wonders and since you have two railguns already it may come in handy. check it out.))

Thats all I gotta say good luck

Ion Cannons are great, they are like a 3 shot missle launcher, 3 strenght 7 ap 3 crack missiles, nice. Its good against Rhinos and marines.

k, I've updated the list.

HQ

Shas'o w/ plasma rifle, fusion blaster, multitracker, HW drone controller, 1 shield drone

Elites

Battlesuit team 1-
One suit w/ tw plas, and drone controller w/ 1 shield drone
One suit w/ tw plas and target lock
Battlesuit team 2-
(same thing)

Troops
Squad one- 11 firewarriors
Squad two- 10 fw
Squad three- 10 fw

Heavy Support

Broadside w/ smart missles and multitracker
Broadside w/ smart missles and multitracker
Hammer head w/ railgun and smartmissles (I opted to keep the railgun because i usually play 2v2, and the other opponent is usually guard.)

Total value- 1001 pts.

It looks to be a good balanced army list. The only thing I would recommend is drop the shield drone and if you can get two gun drones. More firepower and thats two hits you'll definetely instead of putting all you chickens into one shield drone.

Just my thought though

Can you olny get the shiled drones from the pathfinder shas'ui ? DOes that mean that i've got to mail order them all?
Pretty much. There's a couple other characters they come with. What I'm going to do is not glue the guns on my drones, and just pull the guns off the drones I want shield drones. People shouldn't notice.

That's what I do too - my Space Marine killer-army (also the one I tend to use most often), has a HQ-squad, specifically tailored for it - Shas'o with two Shas'vre bodyguards, all with multi-tracker and Shield Generator, Plasma Rifle and Fusion Blaster. Plus, two Shield Drones attached to the Shas'o.

I know this is a bit of a points-sink, and doesn't have a huge range... but the way I use them tends to attract a *lot* of heavy-weapons fire... and there's nothing quite like getting hit by everything a Land-raider can throw at you, turn after turn after turn... and passing shield roll after shield roll <grins>. By the second turn, one guy I tend to play frequently sends practically *everything* at trying to kill them... which is usually about the time flanks sweep in and riddle his tac squads with pulse-shots.

Throw thirty wounds at a guy's Space Marines, turn after turn... and he'll be cut down to size quickly enough. Especially with a couple of rail-guns and a lethal squad or two to deal with any 2+ saves that might be hanging around.

If this is against space marines then Why did you put a railgun on Hammerhead you should put Ion cannon. To take out his troops and kill his tanks with your broadsides. You can't forget the railgun! Also for elites if your putting those crisis by themselves you can only have three because of the squad number. If your using them with Shas'O then you have two take two bodyguards out because Shas'O can only have two bodgurds per team.
