First off, i need to decide what type i want to use, IE:
A webway army (Using the potal to Deploy thigs like Talos and Wyches)
A 'Raider' army with loads of raiders (A more CC army)
Or a Shooty army, with guns galore!

Then i really need to know which units would work well for these types.
I have a rough idea, raider army with whiches and raider squads (Duh)
or a webway army with 2 Talos, and some which squads.
Or just a shooty army with plenty of Warior sqauds with SC and Dark Lances.

But the rest leaves me 'Lost' :unsure:

So i would appreciate all and any help!!

Welcome to the True Kin!

Personally, i consider as WWP armies as not very efficient, unless the WWP rules get changed soon (which i heard a rumour about).
In order to deploy a WWP, you have to move it to the position where you want it. Then you have to stay stationary in order to deploy it, and nothing can emerge out of it before the next turn - so the first models arrive through the WWP in turn three, and if you decide to deepstrike the model which is supposed to deploy the WWP, then it won't happen before turn four or even later (if you're unlucky with th reserve roll). That's for sure not efficient, especially because your opponent has a turn to react to the WWP before the first models can emerge from it. In turn three, you could have reached any position on the table by using normal raiders as transports, you don't need a WWP for this.

IMHO both the slashy and the shooty army should have lots of raiders, as speed is one of the main strenghts of DE, and it should be maximized.

Oh, ok then. thanks. Im sure i'll be very happy with my DE what ever.

Any advice on a 'Slashy' army? :)

The best slashy army depends on your opponent. If you play against something with decent armour saves which is rather shooty, then you might consider a Lord plus incubi, a ravager or two for fire support, some raider squads, one or two wych squads, eventually some reavers.
If you play against another army with lots of models which have two close combat weapons, then consider a wych cult, as these will negate lots of your opponent's advantages. Wyches can stand toe-to-toe with almost anything, even a wraithlord will fall victim to a succubus' agonizer, and genestealers also in average lose against wyches. So if your opponent doesn't rely on armour saves, then wyches will be a good choice.

My regular opponants are:

Iron Wariors
Elder (Swordwind, the one with the aspects as troops)
'Nids
Imperial Gaurd

So its a bit of a bugger. 2 heavy(ish) armoured armies, and two lightly armoured foes.

I recomend using D.E worior Squads as Heavy weapon teams because they can have dark lances and/or disintergrators or splinter cannons and shredders :D
