Check out my gallery for some pics.

I paint my Guardians very simple, just Bleached bone and ink on the bone areas, black armour and red eyes.

The vehicles are cooler though.

Black ink. Beware of using too much of it though, or the model will look like it just crawled up from a pitch ditch.

I've found a very effective and efficient way of painting Ulthwe to be:

Spray models black
Paing bone areas vermin brown
Highlight bone w/ bleached bone
Very lightly drybrush the black armour w/ codex grey

You can go through a lot of minis very quickly (I had a week to paint 200 minis), and it will still look very good.

I use red for my gems, it goes well with the other colours. But green works too.

There really is no proper wa to paint them but the way most people do it is armor:black highlight with codex and fortress grey. Eyes: red gore highlighted with bloodred, and blazing orange. Talismans and weapons: scorched brown, bleached bone skull white.
