Good morning everyone, rules noobie here and i'm back with another question.

I was wondering about the psychic powers in Codex: Space Marines. Which of these powers require line of sight (if any? maybe librarian can sense who they're using powers on...?)

I have a feeling that this is covered in the rulebook somewhere but I don't have mine on me and wanted to know this for drafting up a list.

All psychic powers require LOS unless stated otherwise. If you check the psychic section of the BGB it states that psychic powers follow all the rules for shooting unless stated otherwise and LoS falls in this category.

yes, but then again, in the space marine FAQ on GW's official site, it says that Fury of the ancients does not require LOS

Storm of the Emperor's Wrath requires LOS

Fury of the Ancients does not require LOS, it just goes in a straight line all the way across the board unless it hits a friendly unit

Fear of the Darkness does not require LOS, it hits everyone in range

Vortex of Doom requires LOS

Might and Veil do not because they are not attacks.

although i would love to believe this, the fear of the darkness power represents that, maybe not exactly but, the librarian does an extrééééémly ugly face to every enemy near him, but if he cannot see the enemy, and the enemy cannot see him, how can they become scared? Explain that to me plz:?:C:?

uh.... its not THAT kind of scared... if it was then an ugly looking force commander could take it...

by "fear of the darkness" it means that the Librarian puts out an enormous Psychic energy and saturates an area around him. This power seeps into the minds of all enemies in the area (which means no LOS) and conjures up their own personal fears and makes them real (think hallucination). This in turn causes them to run. :C
