Hello everyone. I've been pondering whether or not to pick up Escalation, as I haven't had a chance to see the book in person. Is it worth getting if you already have the Apocalypse book? I know it includes some of the Forge World super-heavies, but just how many? Is one better off buying Forge world Apocalypse if one wants the super-heavies from it? Does it offer anything other than super-heavy rules for a normal game? This strikes me as something that's very easy to make one's own house rules.

It depends entirely on your local metagame. Despite it being offical usable to any game of 40k many people still flat out refuse to play games where their opponent uses it so find out what the local community thinks.
