re: Dark Elves In Mordheim

Hiya everyone- my friend is currently starting a Mordheim Campaign, unfortunately the only models I have available are Dark Elves.

I have looked around, and can't find any "official" rules for Dark Elves, and I am at a bit of a loose end- I would like to start mordheim, but to have the figures etc ready I'd need to use Dark Elves.

Is there anywhere you know I can get these rules, or would I have to sit down with my friend and try and get a house list together?

well, you could use the shadow warriors list (they are just a bunch of sneaky High Elves)
but they were counted illegal, because they were overpowered.

On the other hand, Mordheim is all about starting new armies, and with just one box you can play for weeks. Just get yourself an army you like.

Dark Elf Mordheim

Hmm. I haven't looked over it too much, but here's a link for a Dark Elf Mordheim band.

And someone's warband.

Just did a google search and found about 10 already. I'm sure you could find something your friends would accept.

Accually, there are official rules out and they can be found here:

Just skip a few pages and you'll find them.

actually, those are wonderfully over-powered... and not official.
no elves in mordheim are official.

(On a side note, Mordheimer.com has an experimenal Druiichi slavers / dark elves warband that's fairly well designed and balanced.

Personally i think youve got a great opportunity to start a new warband, with them being boxed into handy starting packs at twenty quid the timing was never better- will give you a chance to try your hand at something other than Dark Elves too- have a look at the morheim mini ranges, some of them are so cool, personally im very trmpted by the carnival of chaos...
