Rising Leviathan's first shot at a VoteWar!
Hello fellow LOers!
It's been a whiles since the last VW now, and I thought it would be great to seize the iniative!
If you are new to VW, feel free to skip to further down the post.
So this thread will be for general info and sign up.
General Info:
I'm not yet sure just how to arrange this, but I will try to get at least 16 (hopes for 32) entrants and like the last VW it will be a double elimination system. 2 strikes and your out. This guarantees at least two matches for everyone.
Our very own gingerninja has generously offered to go through the list and check them, and the ever present AFG will deal with the mod buisness.
Registration is simple, just post your interest here, and your in. I reccomend everyone to put a note in their signature about the VW, so that we can get as many entrants as possible. The more the merrier!
Tactics and deployment will be given as per usual, though I might put a limit on the length.
This is the first time I try to run a VW, and if you have any questions/concerns/advice, please feel free to PM me or post here.

Will there be a prize?
Yes, there will be a prize. A secret member of this great forum, whose name will not be mentioned, *cough* hotspike18 *cough* has kindly offered to make a fantastic signature banner for the winner, and the winner will have the opportunity of influencing the design. I have seen the work of this guy and it's really amazing, so you WANT that banner don't you? I do... sigh...

- The lists will be no more than 2500p.
- Special Characters are NOT allowed.
- DoW and Chaos Dwarfs are allowed.
- The lists will be legal and from the current edition Army Book.
- In addition, there will be a relief force system in the case of meeting an opponent a second time.
- The relief force will be 500p. and must include a legal hero, one core choice and one special OR rare choice.
- The normal rules regarding magic items stille apply nomally, so you can't include the same magic item in the relief force as in the main list and vice versa.

I was thinking maybe HAVE the option of the relief force. If the relief force is a total of 500, that would be a total of 3000p. IF it were to happen. What do you guys think about this? Is it too large or would it be nice to have some "mega" matches?

Yeah I'd be happy enough with the relief force - gives a bit more randomness to repeat matches other than changes in map/tactics.

I think we really need to go a promotion drive with this thing, otherwise it'll take so long to get started people who signed up early may forget about it. Im going to make posts in the forums I generally use, Brets, Lizardmen, O&G and TK.

*You must include one Hero-level character to lead the Relief Force. He/she/it cannot take any magic items/runic combos/anything else that falls under this category that have been included in the main force already.
*You may include up to one Special unit, and/or up to one Rare unit.
