Salamanders question

As of right now, to play Salamanders, do you have to use either the army list in Codex: Armageddon or the Trait list in Codex: Space Marines? Or can you choose which one to use?

I know people who use Codex: Armageddon-a-new-pair-of-boardshorts, and I knwo others that use the triat system in Codex: Space Marines. So I suppose it comes down to what you prefer...Though I'd like to see what otehr people think should be used.

Actually... since the Codex is published after the Armageddon is the one you must use...

Now if you want to use the Armageddon set of rules in friendly games you must take the opponents acceptance... 8Y
