I used a watered down Aleenes Tacky Glue on my styrofoam in hopes that it would seal the foam so that I could spray paint it. Once it's sprayed I'm going to flock it but was just wondering if the watered down tacky glue will work to seal the foam so I don't destroy my base when I spray it?

if by tacky glue you mean P.V.A. glue then yup this works

you can also use any type of normal wall paint, and a personal favorite slightly thinned down wall filler.

if you are looking for a textured look then you can add sand to any of the above whilst still wet and it'll stick very nicely.
