I've not quite decided, Jungle Fighting colours or a foreboding dark scheme?

Probably the Jungle fighting to go with my Kroot

Firewarrior Shas'la: Catachan Green platings, camo fatigues (goblin green, with swats of catachan green, dark angels green and graveyard earth). Arm-thingy: White lines, inner 'stripe' catachan green, outer 'stripes' dark angels green.
Firewarrior Shas'ui: Same as Shas'la, but white helmet and the arm-thingy white instead of catachan green.

Crisis Team: Catachan Green, with skull white details. Used _heavily_ thinned down goblin green on the white, to make it look like it has been walking through a large amount of jungles. The thingies which looks like a circle split in half on the sides of the jetpack (c'mon, you know what i mean!) are brazen brass, like some details on the broadsides' railguns.

Aun'shi. Like the one by Tammy Haye in Codex: Tau, but much uglier ;) . Inspired by the picture on page 53 of the same book, i painted some (alot) of blood on the honor blade (it actually started with me accidentally putting the tip of the honor blade in my jar of blood red :)

Drones (i dont have any in my army, i pain them just for fun): Camo (see firewarriors) on the top, dark angels green borders.

The paint sceme I use is black clothes w/ mithril silver armor. Then I coat the the silver armor w/ black ink wash to get like a beat-up/used armor look. For the gun, symbol, and antena(sp) I used a mix of 40% Mithril Silver , 40% Beaten Copper, and 20% Boltgun Metal. Then for the belts and wrist bands i used Liche Purple. And fo the soulder pad I painted the middle strip Liche Purple, then I put lightning coming from the symbol. It turns out awesome.

,Mat
Its funny because my Tau are Black with Boltgun coloured pads, shouder pads helmets and guns. It looks prety close to this persons army

Look at some of the paint scheme's people have posted here, tis best to come up with your own though...I like the metal look- have the armour be aa metal with a colored undercoat. Monocromatic color schemes are often use on Tau were the say darker of the two shades will be used for the undercloth and the lighter shade for the armour...ex. Dark Angels Green undercloth w/ Camo Green armour, a pic of this is in the codex. Analogous color schemes are also used. ;)

I use shadow grey for armor and chaos black for the undercoat. I paint the helmets half black half grey. The ankles and their communicator are red. The symbol on the shoulderpad is black with red ink between the heights

I think I wanna do a white + light blue + some grey/black patches for a snow camo army.

Anybody know what the best way to get paint off of the models is? Without damaging the plastic of course...
goto any auto parts store and pick up this stuff called "Castrol Super Clean"
it strips metal in 5 mins, but leave plastic in it foir about 3 days and it strips it comepletley and NO, i mean NO damage to plastic.

i hopefully will get some tau for xmas...i want to work purple into my color scheme. does anybody have some suggestions fo wat a good secondary color would be to go along with a liche purple?

My Tau army has a undercoat of a dark blue color then I add a light blue color on top of the dark blue it gives it a very robotic anime look to them. Much like the color on the tau hammer head pictures.
