Not really, no.

Hmm, meltafuns, very nice. 8)

After the static 2 maxed out bike squads (and if oyu plan on expanding on ravenwing), I would suggest 3 man bike squads w/ 2 plasma guns.

DEFINTELY give them meltaguns. You can drop a man or 2 for the points. Think about it: when you land, you have about a 85% channce of penetrating a Land Raider with the 2 meltaguns.

Dreadnaught
Lascannon and Missile Launcher
Extra Armour
For the same ammount of points, you could just make it a regular dread (AC and DCCW) with a drop pod. Since you can't make this shooty dread venerable w/ tank hunters, you might as well make it deep-strike with an assault cannon.

Cheers,
Me.

Your obsessed with maxing your librarains. Honestly, i dont see the point of taking such an expensive HQ. I suggest you ditch the famailiar. Nobodies gonna send there HQ head to head with your librarain, so youll out strike first against almost every normal troop in the game.

Do you really think that you can kill 13.46 space marines with him? I dont use viel of time that much, but i sincerely doubt that your lib can kill that many marines.

These guys are as point effect as they can be, but the squad still isnt very deadly. Mostly because they lack the firepower to get themselves out of trouble, and will likely be taking a taking a charge.

These guys dont work like termintors, that is, when you pod 1" away from the command section of the IG player, youll notice they lack the firepower of the termintors. And when it comes time for the IG to return fire, youll see that unlike termintors who get to roll there 2+ armour save against most IG ordance, youll find no such luck.

However, i dont much like termintors, and your dark angles, so your basically stuck. The only better optoin would be a chaplain led assault squad.

ALl in all, its not a bad choice. If your losing games though, and want to get better, its your HQ that you should change.

Elites (310)
Venerable Dreadnaught

dont bother with none venerable. Without the added protection, AV 12 isnt enough armour to save a twinlinked lascannon. DItch him, or take an assault cannon.

10 man squads would be ideal, if you can find the points.

Giggity Giggity goo!

Your drop poding, as such, devs will see more firepower then normal, be careful of this.

Nice list overall.

thanks guys. thats right forged I tested land speeders and they slautered. that librarian (all 4 models of him) has killed more than you can imagine. They took a charge from chaplain assault squad (furious charge) and the librarian 6 (this was 2 turns of combat I think) and the company champion and sergeant killed 5. i will update the list cause I haven't checked the points.

I am considering termies but only if the new librarian in terminator armour is wicked cool 8)

My Chaplain in Terminator (with Lightning claws) has killed exactly 30 Space Marines in one game (exactly 6 per turn, form turn 2-6), and he re-rolled all to-hit and wound rolls, so I think it's very possible for the librarian to do pretty much the same thing.

Dunno, I doubt the drop pod is going anywhere were FotD won't be absolutely devastating.

Uh-uh, definetly leave the venerable. For the cost of 2 marines, you get a S9 missile launcher and a S10 Lascannon. The venerable isn't for the protection (though it does actually help a lot), but for the extra help for tank hunting.

I think i quoted the wrong dreadnought, but yes, tank hunters is why the dread is good.

Alright, go with your expensive lib, if you wish, once you get him in CC, your skimmers will get him out of any trouble. THat is, 6 landspeeders can kill 13 space marines a turn, or anything with Sv 3+

So you wont get to overwelmed i dont think.

Good luck
Today using an old his FoTD wasn't effective enough and lets just bad positioning and bad rolls lost me the 3 way game. Anyhow this new list should work fine.
i Advise against drop pods, or deep striking units in 3 way, as well as infiltrate.

sHooty armies dominate 3-way, thats why there are no blanced rule published for them
huh?

*blank look*

could you explain that again?
