My favorite conversion is the battle-ready Deceiver. It's a Deceiver painted in metallics, because it's armored. The sash has been filed off, and it stands on a dead Dreadnought or Daemon prince-some big model. Two Wraith shoulder pads make up its breastplate, and an Avatar sword is clutched in its right hand. A space has been filed away in the sword, a depression for the green gauss rod, making the sword Fashraa- the Silver Tongue. This version of the Deceiver hs a +3 save, as well as its +4 Inv. It has all the powers of the standard Deceiver, plus one attack in close combat and plus one WS. The sword's special rules are here:
Fashraa- The Silver Tongue
The Silver Tongue counts as a power weapon which raises the bearer's strength by one. In addition to penetrating standard armor saves, it reduces all Inv. saves by one. Any roll of six to wound cleaves the enemy in half- instantly killing it. Any unit suffering casualties from the sword immediately falls back without taking a morale check. Against enemies with special weapons (such as Drach'nyen and Gorechild), it counts as a power weapon, and the opponent's weapon counts as a CCW. When assaulting the Deceiver, all non-character models must take individual morale checks. Failures cause the model to attack the closest friendly model. In addition, the sword penalizes one point off of WS, S, T, I and A of any Daemon in melee with it- the essence of the sword forcibly rips the presence of the Chaos Gods away from their Daemons, weakening them.

Fluff:
An prophecy has been made, and it is known only to the top echelons of the Imperium. The consequences are far-reaching, and if it is true, the implications are dire. It speaks of a War of the Gods, a Fourth Great War. A bit of background- the first was the War in Heaven, when the shining legions of the Necrontyr cast down the Old Ones and destroyed their ancient civilizations. The second was the Fall of the Eldar, where Khana beat the weakened Nightbringer and was in turn shattered by the emergent Slaanesh, who also killed every Eldar god except for, ironically enough, the god of death. The third was the great batle between the Emperor and Horus, where the Imperium was founded. The fourth would be the greatest of all- a Ragnarok to end all life. The machinations of the Deceiver, laid before even the Eldar first saw the stars, are finally coming to fruitition. This is the dusk of mankind, and the Twilight of the Gods. In the prophecy, Cypher will kill the Emperor, who will be reborn as a god. The prophecy is unclear as to what happens next- except in the most secret section of the Black Library. The C'tan will return to their former glory, and the Outsider and Dragon will return. A great battle will commence, the Eldar Gods returning to finish what they started. The Emperor will kill Khorne in single combat, and the galaxy will run red with his blood, inciting warfare unheard of even in the chaotic 41st millenium. The Deceiver will face off against the Laughing God, each a genius planner beyond compare. Fashraa will drink the blood of Tzeentch, ending his changing way forever. The Laughing God will be killed by the Dragon, unstoppable in its rage. The Outsider will rend Nurgle apart. Slaanesh will revel in the glory of his worship, until the Eldar Gods return to single-mindedly topple him from his throne. Their work done, they will return to death, and the Eldar race will vanish from the stars forever. The Immortal Emperor will preside over a finally united galaxy, until the Nightbringer drinks deep from the sun of Terra. The two will clash in an epic battle, the champion of humanity versus the unspeakable horror birthed from the scourging sun of the Necrontyr, their final work and great glory. Only one will walk away from this epic conflict-or so it would seem. The Nightbringer, having slain the Emperor, will soon perish from its grievous wounds- and the final works of the First Races will finally be undone.

Oh yea. This is definitely at least 400 points. That's figuring 10 points for the increased save, 10 for the increase in WS, and 80 for the kickass weapon.

Why would you worry about using it to reduce invulnerable saves by one, when normal C'Tan attacks dont allow any save not even invulnerable?

The conversion is looking great. I have decided to use a Greater Daemon sword instead, as well as a Greater Daemon head (for the Deceiver to be standing on)
