So, its that time again. Time for the new LO Meet. The details shall come later, but for now this will do to decide on the date of the meet. As usual, it'll be during July and the weekend with the highest votes will be weekend it is held on.

For those who have never been before, the LO Meet is a weekend where the members of LO may meet, at Warhammer World in Nottingham. We play games, drink, chat and basically have a good time. The evenings are take up by going to a pub for some casual drinking and frivolities. But be warned, there is a chance of a sore throat. I must say that we have an age limit on the meet. The youngest we can have without parental supervision is sixteen (16), but I must warn you that those under eighteen (18 ) might not be able to join in with certain activities.

Please choose a date on the poll and we'll see if it is a viable weekend.

Nice closing date, Kuffy.

As always, I terribly wish I could make it; as it is, I'm going to be struggling to make it (finally) to the second US Meet, and saving up some cash in general (hoping to head to Japan next spring), so I probably won't be able to get there. If I were able to, though, any of those weekends would work.

Do you have any dates of events being run, like Games Days or anything like that? Those could influence people's decisions.

the result of this poll is null and void. Since this is the internet, people who have no intention of coming will vote in this poll (like last year), and since you haven't made the votes public, there's no way (for you) to tell which votes are by randoms and which are by people who genuinely want to come.

Second, why does it have to be in July? At least the option of an august would be nice since people who work or study in schools might have a chance of coming.

If humanly possible I shall be attending again. The only weekend I can't do is the 6/7/8 of August

Do we know what weekends are free at WW?

Only weekend I think is closed to me is Easter weekend, which I don't think is July.. Oh, and I'd rather not do 9th-12th. Every other date is good for me. Bring on the frivolities!

I might possibly make an appearance, even if it means I might have to ride along in DMC's suitcase. As for dates, either goes.

My post seems to have disappeared from here so I'll summarise wht I said:
I voted for the earliest date due to the fact that I'm getting married at the end of July so the later it is, the less likely I'll be able to come. It's still only 50/50 at best but the earlier in the month itis, the more likely I'll be able to come.

What do you mean by that

I want to come and it would be a cool escape from doing wedding stuff, but obviously the closer it gets the less likely I'll be able to justify the time "off".

You could pretend to be DMCs carer, and see if the airline will give you reduced rates.

I would like to second a request for an August date, It is unfortunate that Theo cannot do 6/7/8, but how about 13/14/15? A little late, yes, but it seems that date would be best for most people.

I will be attending nomatter what (Hell, last year I stayed till Monday, and had an exam Tuesday.

), but August would be better for me, as it would mean all my exams are out of the way.

Actually, I'm with Hambey. I'll vote for an August date, it'll make travel alot simpler for me if it's after term has finished.

But... but... it has always beein in July (I think....)!

And August guarantees that we won't collide with some major release for GW's main game systems, and we can't have that (2 years in a row, it's tradition!)!

But seriously, if August means more people will be free from school then awesome sauce.
