The Manreaper ??

724 Views 7 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  Caluin
I just recently found out that the man reaper is not only a daemon weapon but it and all daemon weapons are also power weapons...Don't know how I managed to miss both but is this true? I still can't seem to find confirmation of this in my chaos codex..Guess I'm just bad at searching. That being said, does that mean I can only have one manreaper per army since any chaos army can only have one daemon weapon?

I don't think all Daemon Weapons are power weapons. The Kai Gun isn't. And I don't think the Dread Axe is either.

Secondly, because daemon weapons on special characters don't count towards your army limit, you could probably get away with two if you took Typhus. Otherwise, you can only take one.
I am sure the Manreaper is a power weapon. Don't have codex handy so I can't quote text but I can't image it not being a power weapon.

Page 51 has all the information you need. Look at the Gifts of Nurgle armoury listing and then the description for the weapon.
neither is the needle of desire, thats why no one uses it
Don't keep me in suspense! Is it a power weapon?
As Caluin stated its in the CSM codex on page 51.

We can't give out specific answers to rules questions.

We can safely say that the Manreaper is an awesome weapon for any Nurgle IC and works best when combined with Daemonic Strength and/or Stature.
