Below is the information you need to enter the Battle of Elsior. The following link is to the registration form. Once you submit it, we will send you an email containing the link to the battle report form.
Please fill out the form and submit it. You will get an email with the link to the battle report form. Initial registration will last for 3 days, before we start accepting battle reports, though you will be able to register throughout the whole campaign.
Objective of the Battle
The object of the battle is to control the most planets in the system. The more fights each team has for a planet the more likely they are to control that planet. There will be four teams fighting for control. Each battle report counts for points towards controlling a planet. Battles against other LO Members count for more points. When submitting battles against non-LO members please put which planet you would like the report to count towards. When playing against other LO members please decide amongst yourselves before playing the game and submit it in the report. As the campaign progresses information about the seventh planet Elsior, will start to be uncovered. The Imperium however wants us to keep this information silent. So the better they do in the campaign the more censored the information will be.
Points
Points will work as followed. All games will be figured into the points. Confirmed battle reports will be worth more then non-confirmed. You may use games on vassal as a valid way to play a game.
The points will be broken down as followed:
How big the game was you played. 500-999 point games are scored the same. 1000-1999 point games are scored the same. And 2000+ are scored the same.
Whether or not your HQ survives the battle will also count. So keep them safe!
Battles
Battles are played on your own time. And you can submit battle reports whenever. We will update the maps once a day. Battle reports for the day will reset at 9:00pm (EST -5 GMT). Reports submitted after 9:00pm (EST -5 GMT) will go towards the next day. Home games, and vassal are both acceptable game play options.

There will be four teams in this campaign. Each team will work together to try to take control of the system and find out what has happened to the seventh and final planet of the system, Elsior. The Teams are as follows:

Timeline
The campaign will run from now until until August 31st 2010. Battle reports will not be counted if submitted after 9:00PM (EST -5 GMT) on August 30, 2010. Winners will be posted on the 31st of August.

Restating of the Rules
1.Be sure to register your email with campaign leaders. Emails must be valid. They will be checked regularly during the campaign.
2.Players are free to run their own battles either in person, or using vassal. We will count personal battles with non-members of LO but they will be worth less points.
3.Players are allowed to play as many battles as they like so long as they do not play the same person in a 24 hour period.
4.Disputes concerning the campaign will be taken to the Campaign Leaders in PM.* Any spaming or complaints posted in the primary campaign threads will result in disqualification of the player.
5.Battles won will result in points for the winning faction and team. Other factors for points include, how long an objective is controlled by a faction/team. Also, the more objectives you control the more points you get. Having confirmed Battle Reports will also result in more points then non-confirmed reports.

If you have trouble getting the battle report form to work, or you don't receive an email back from us once you've registered please PM me so I can rectify the situation. If you lose the email that contains the link for the battle report please PM me or Agate so we can send you the link.
