Transport Vehicles....

Okay, here it is. If a squad takes the option of a transport vehicle, does the vehicle have to retain coherency with that squad through out the game? Or can it leave and transport another squad instead? Oh, and another thing, Can an Independant character join a squad mounted in a transport vehicle? I need confirmation on these, thanx in advance!!

no, a transport is bought for 1 UNIT and ONLY 1 UNIT AT the TIME!.

the only way you can transport different units, is having a tank that also has transport capability.

like the falcon or the landraider.

and yes, a independent character may join a squad, but they can't leave the vehicle unless they leave all at once.
since its 1 squad.
A transport vehicle can only transport one unit at a time, and unless it was bought as a seperate choice such as a land raider it also can only transport the unit that it was bought for, IceZero is right.

It does not have to retain coherency with the squad though.

Thanx guys, that's all I wanted to know. So If I have a Warboss and he joins a squad of Trukk boyz, he can leave the Trukk only if they do at the same time? And he can leave the squad only when they have left the Trukk?
 how meny men can the space orks transpot at one time??
ork: dont ask about stuff like that, asking/telling about values, nubers and such are a violation against copyright....
just wonderin, when you have a transport vehicle, do you have to be able to literaly put your squad inside the vehicle?

giving a direct answer to a question isn't a violation of copyright. Reproducing portions of the printed rules / codex is.

Let sleeping(/dead) posts lie.
